The "Essence of Amsterdam".

Recently Fya’s story as a performer was published and a chapter of the book “The essence of Amsterdam” reveals her deepest passions, aspirations and personal views.

"The Essence of Amsterdam" by author David Beckett s a book where 25 Amsterdammers share their experience of life in Holland's capital - including former Mayor of Amsterdam, Job Cohen; comedian and columnist Youp Van ‘t Hek; Hollywood actress Halina Reijn; ‘Mr Ajax’, Sjaak Swart; rapper and artist Def P; author and editor of Time Out Amsterdam, Nina Siegal; and world famous shoe designer Jan Jansen.

The launch of the book on may 23rd at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam was an amazing event where Fya ofcourse performed one of her, as the national newspaper Parool mentioned “Zinderende act” (sweltering performance).
